"round" from Tishbite (Part
2), 1996
I think round is one of the songs were liz talked about her life, or
possibly someone elses. I think it is about someone who has it to
heavy with their parter. Their partner has maybe done something wrong
and has shattered the person's mind. The person's head is a mess but
they are determinded to get back on the rails of normal life....."I
will stay focused" "Yes! I will stay focused"
"The sence of movement" probably
meaning they both have to start rebuilding this break by actually doing
something, this 'doing' gives her a new sence, a sence of progress.....
"It gives me a new sence of progress," she
knows there is a need to work hard at it too, she can do it, to finally
get completely back to normality and to look to the future
"tells me(to this new life), I've got capacity to improve"
But to do all this she needs some time alone
to herself, but she is saying to her partner, "Don't worry, We'll
get there, you just get by, you need time too..... enjoy it" "Need
Space..... enjoy it"
Now this is where it goes
meaningless ..... This person wants space because the wheel turns
round??? ... it quite possibly could be that she means that you can
loose it a bit sometimes, but you will return to sanity sometime, like a
wheel it goes round in a cycle an there is a break somewhere but it soon
returns to the stationary position, back where it started going
round...... think about it......... but remember sounds change, so this
could mean nothing to me tomorrow, i could think something different
entirely.
thanks elizabeth for this wonderful song
